# Netrinos Client v1.3.0 Release Notes

**Release Date**: 2026-01-31

## Overview

Version 1.3.0 introduces Virtual Devices, a new way to expose LAN devices onto
your Netrinos network. Instead of configuring individual port forwards, each LAN
device gets its own SecureIP and becomes accessible like any other Netrinos
peer.

## Virtual Devices

### What Are Virtual Devices?

Virtual Devices let you add LAN devices (NAS, cameras, printers, IoT devices) to
your Netrinos network without installing software on them. Each device gets a
dedicated SecureIP address, making it accessible from anywhere on your network.

### Key Benefits

- **No port configuration**: Access any service on the device without setting up
  port forwards
- **Works across sites**: Connect to devices on 192.168.1.x at home and
192.168.1.x at the office without conflicts
- **Supports complex protocols**: RTSP cameras, SIP phones, and FTP servers work
  without special configuration
- **Easy discovery**: Network scan finds devices automatically

### How to Use

1. Open the Netrinos app and go to **Devices**
2. Click **Scan** to discover devices on your network
3. Select a device and click **Add** to create a Virtual Device
4. Access the device using its SecureIP from any peer on your network
